More Information

It explains how everyday actions – what you learn, say, buy, give and do – can create big opportunities for the world’s poorest.

That’s why our focus at the Global Poverty Project is educating people about what the issues are and what effective aid looks like, and why we work with organisations around the world to campaign for change on issues that we know need more attention – like improving maternal and child health, reducing corruption and ensuring that aid money gets spent well.

1.4 Billion Reasons was directed by Antony Harvey, who enrolled in at Bucks New University in High Wycombe in 2003, one of the most respected TV and film schools in the country. Here, he read Video Production and Creative Writing, graduating with honors. He is now a freelance Producer, Editor, Script Writer, and splits his time between his home in West London where he works, and his family home in Eastbourne.
